The British Columbia Wine Appreciation Society is pleased to host
This will be a fun, walk-around wine tasting with a social media focus. There will be 16 wineries attending, pouring some of BC’s best – and you’ll get to try some Nova Scotia wines, too! And, it wouldn’t be a BCWAS event without some platters of cheese and charcuterie from Les Amis du Fromage.
What is #BCWineChat? BC Wine Chat is a Twitter chat, held every Wednesday night from 8-9pm. Each week, a different wine-related topic is discussed. Interested in wine? Have a Twitter handle? Join #BCWineChat on Wednesdays! During this tasting, attendees with Twitter handles will be encouraged to tweet about the wines and maybe meet some fellow tweeps “IRL” – In Real Life.
What’s included? A selection of wines from 16 wineries, some yummy platters of cheese and charcuterie, a chance to meet and chat with winery owners and representatives, and time to hang out with fellow wine lovers in a beautiful, artistic space!

I am very pleased to have been part of BCWAS almost right from the beginning – my first event was BCWAS’s third tasting, and I’ve been involved ever since! I am thrilled with all the support that we have from all of the wonderful owners and winemakers in our beautiful province, and of course, BCWAS couldn’t exist without you. Cheers, and see you at the next tasting!
